What are peopleactually searching?

This free keyword research tool expands one seed phrase into the real searches people type into Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo, adds question, comparison, local and buying modifiers, then groups the results by intent with a demand signal, all without paid data.

Asks Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo about 60 variations. 5 to 15 seconds.

Questions

Before you ask

Where do the keywords come from?

From the autocomplete suggestions of Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo, the same ones you see when you start typing a search. Autocomplete only offers phrases that real people search for often enough to matter, so every row is a search that happens. We ask each engine for your seed plus dozens of prefixes and suffixes (how, best, cost, near me, vs and so on) and merge the answers.

Why no search volume?

Because honest volume costs money. Google only gives exact volumes through Ads accounts that are spending, and the paid tools estimate it from clickstream data and licence it by the row. Instead this tool shows a demand signal: how many engines suggest the phrase and how high it appears in their lists. A phrase all three engines put near the top has real demand; one that appears once at the bottom is a long-tail idea. Clients on the portal get volume from our Ahrefs and Search Console data in their reports.

What is the intent grouping?

Each keyword is tagged as a question, a comparison, a buying search (cost, price, best, hire, near me), a local search or general information, based on the words in it. Questions and information suit articles; buying and local searches suit service and location pages. The emailed CSV carries the tags so you can filter.
